Servers that PRTG connects to for Geo Maps
Depending on the Geo Map provider you choose, PRTG connects to different URLs to retrieve geo coordinates for a street address and to obtain map tiles.
Usually, only the web server needs to connect to these URLs to provide all necessary data to the client web browser. Sometimes, however, the client with which you use the web interface needs internet access as well.
Can I use a proxy?
By default, PRTG will try to use a direct internet connection. If a proxy is mandatory in your network, log in to the PRTG web interface and configure your proxy settings in the Core Server settings. For details about proxy settings, see PRTG Manual: Core Server.
Which servers does PRTG connect to?
* On systems running PRTG version 13.2.3.1896/1897 or higher. We recommend that you do not use an earlier version.
