WARNING!

The RAM available for PRTG is running low: only 384 MB are left.

Please check the PRTG server computer

The system running the server has 8GB ram and is 64bit windows server 2008. Are there any way of fixing this?

Article Comments

Seeing as PRTG is a 32-bit application (a 64-bit version is in the works, although we would be hard pressed to let you know when it will be available), it can only access up to 4 GB RAM, regardless how much RAM is actually available on the system. If you are running into memory issues, we would suggest distributing some of your sensors over remote probes.

The server having issues are the core server, it has only sensors for the Probe device.

It is two servers as remote servers publishing data back to this server. They are both running severals thousand sensors. They are not using much memory (approximately 1GB). The core server has about 15% cpu load.

There are about 6-10 users of the web interface an all times. Are this consuming memory on the core server?
