PRTG 6 error when opening

Tryuing to migrate our PRTG to a Windows server 2008 standard machine and receiving the following error when opening. Error: Access violation at 0x0158FB86 (tried to write 0x00000000), program terminated.

Is this a wirtes issue , license issue or comaptibily issue? any way to get PRTG 6 to run in server 2008 standard SP2

I'm very sorry, but PRTG 6 does not officially support Windows 2008 R2. It was not developed for this Windows version. Please consider either updating to a newer version of PRTG or maybe moving PRTG 6 to another host with Windows 2003 on it.
