How do I set up an external ping

I would like to set up an sensor to sense when the ISP ASDL conenection fails.

Can I set up a ping to an enternal address? If so, how?

Hi,
please add a new device and put a external web address in the IPv4 Address / DNS Name field. Then just add a Ping sensor to the device. The sensor will then perform a ping to the given address in the settings.
