Hi
I am new in monitoring. I would like to monitor and receive the traps from my proliant servers with the ILO port and PRTG. It seems I have to use the SNMP traps service but the PRTG trap sensor asks me the OID value that will be trapped and the port number.
Could you help to understand how it works and tell me where I can find the OIDs for the proliant DL380 G6?
Regards

Hello,
the best way would probably be to consult the vendors documentation. Or otherwise you could use Wireshark and record a receiving trap on the PRTG server and then lookup the OIDs in Wireshark.
best regards.
