I have 3 vmware hosts and montior this with prtg v9. I have noticed that when guest OS switch vmware host prtg doesnt understand that a gives a warning/alarm.
What is the best way to configure prtg when have mutilple vmware hosts, and the guest OS can jump from one host to another for diffrent reasons?

Best Practice VMware Monitoring
The recommended configuration is: In PRTG, create a device pointing to your VMware vCenter. On this device, add the sensors for your virtual machines. This way PRTG will continue to monitor your virtual machines also when they change the physical host using vMotion.
See also PRTG 9 Manual: VMware Virtual Machine (SOAP) Sensor
You can still monitor your physical hosts' hardware with PRTG.
