I've just installed PRTG, Win7 Up-to-date as of 8/25/11, yet all of the included "default" sensors and any else that I add never get any data. I've added a series of Ping and HTTP sensors for three devices, but nothing has ever been seen on them in the past 12 hours. Am I doing something wrong here?

All of the sensors have a status of unknown and message indicating "No data since startup" or "No data since 8/25/2011 11:07:21 AM"

Hello,

Could you please forward us your system log files for analysis via email to support@paessler.com? You will find the log files within the data directory as defined under the "Core Server" tab of the "PRTG Server Administrator" tool, or in the following default paths:

XP/2003: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\V7\Logs (System)
Vista/2008/Windows 7: C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\V7\Logs (System)

Please be aware that it might also be a 'V8'-folder. You can also use the option to upload the logs to our FTP-Server, using the button "Send Logs to Paessler..." on the tab "Logs" in the "PRTG Server Admin Tool".

best regards.

Never mind that, it was solved via reboot. Now I just need to figure out how to make the server down detection more tolerant... after a single ping timeout I get an error saying the server is down...
