Dear Support,

We're having an issue with the sensor that is trying to authenticate in a proxy server. The problem is this message: No Response (-1) (code: PE105). I searched the KB and found that it can be a problem with the IIS server. Since we're testing navigation throw a proxy server, we don't have IIS (the URL that we're testing is www.google.com).

Could you help us?

Have you entered the correct proxy settings in the parent devices Settings-tab (in PRTG)?

I don't sure.

Can you explain me what is this error?

Thank you.

Well this error means that PRTG got no response. It did try to access the entered URL, but got no response. This might be caused by a firewall blocking, or a proxy.

Ok. Thank you!

But the ping sensor is working.

And the firewall uses the port 8080.

Ping is ICMP, which is different. Is the HTTP Sensor targeting port 8080 then?

Yes.

Then it's very likely a proxy issue.
