I was wondering if PRTG can create tickets in OTRS? I'd like to know if tickets can be automatically created for network events

how do tickets usually get created in OTRS? Is it not enough just to send an email to the ticketing system?

You are absolutely correct - I've looked at the customer email notifications and custom fields can be set to get OTRS to create a ticket with relevant severity, queue etc. Looks like it will work well. Thanks!
