Hello !
We would like to create automatic support tickets in case of insufficient disk space, so our service desk team can work on it faster. The main idea is to use a notification that sends an email which is taken by our support application and creates the tickets. It's not possible to filter the emails with the support application, so we have to set this notification ONLY for the wanted ressources (free disk space).
The problem is that we need to open every free disk space sensor and add a trigger. It's long, anoying and we'll certainly miss some triggers.
Is it possible to add that kind of notification to a group and then only trigger the free disk space ?
Kind regards.

Any luck with this? I find it a bit cumbersome to have to manually configure 1600 sensors when there are only 8 types of sensors x 200 servers. Please please can this be submitted as a feature request of some sort?
Using inheritance, you should be able to select the sensor or channel per group and configure notifications per group or globally (root).

Triggers can be inherited from group or device level. This works best with Status Triggers, the other types of triggers are possible as well, but not necessarily as good because it's only possible to use Traffic In/Out/Sum and the Primary Channel, and this might effect other sensor types than the desired ones. You could also look into Device Templates, created from a device with sensors and triggers (on the sensors) set up, the triggers will be written into the template and you can use it to create new devices of the same kind with the same sensors.

Hello,
I'm afraid this is not possible in the moment. Right now, it's most likely best to go through the sensors individually. We plan to improve the 'Notification'-tab, but there is no ETA set for this yet. Please bear with us.
Best Regards.
