SNMP and write access

On a network switch we have descriptions set on the ports. Once the switch is added to PRTG and autodiscovery is run, the sensor names have the port names, which is perfect.

Is there a way now to change the name of the port sensor, so that it updates the actual description of the device? I thought this was SNMP WRITE community?

Hello,

PRTG will not change anything on monitored devices, so we do not use a SNMP Write access. This is also not planned.
