Whenever I run auto-discovery some PCs come up again with the same resolved DNS name but a different IP address because DHCP is setup on the local network. Is there any way to avoid this?

Dear Jonathan,

are these devices entered in PRTG with their IPs or their hostnames in the IP Address/DNS Name-field? Is your (local) DNS-Server updated with the DHCP-assigned IPs in time to the DNS-Names?

best regards.
