I really like the improved "new map object" utility. I think an enhancement that would be very helpful is sticky settings. For example, if I search for a device, I often want to add more than one sensor from that device to my map. A checkbox to make the object search sticky would be great. the same thing might be useful for the type of map control. One thing that I wish the utility would do is remember the map control I selected even if I switch objects.
