Is there a way to disable some features of the Web interface for a given user?, e.g: For a given user account (or group) with read only rights, disable the Alarms, Log or Reports tabs (buttons). Or maybe allow (or show) only the devices tab?
This is intended to streamline that specific user view, who only needs to access sensors and bandwidth data.
Thanks in advance,
John.

If you can't hide certain menu items, I have a question. A simple user with Read Permissions who has only Read Access to his own default home folder with for example 5 sensors on 1 router. Because of this permission he can't see any other users, folders or devices in other groups. But... How is it possible that he still can read the logging files in the LOG tab? Like: User A has added a sensor to his Cisco 2100 series router?
It is likely that the user can see and read his own logging on the webpage but nog of other users. How can change this?

Is there a way to remove the LOG button on top of the page? Like the SETUP button is removed by a user who has only Read Access?

Using PRTG user groups in combination with user access rights, you can define which objects are visible by a certain user. Sorry, but there is no possibility to entirely hide certain menu item.
If you want to show a set of objects to a user, we recommend creating a custom PRTG Map.
For really sophisticated changes to the web interface, please have a look at PRTG's API documentation.
