I'm currently evaluating the PRTG Network Monitor program. I would like to know if there is a way to monitor interface errors on the cisco switches?

have you tried using the "Additional Channels" on SNMP Traffic Sensors (can be enabled in the "Settings" of those sensors), when monitoring the interfaces on the Cisco Switches with such SNMP Traffic Sensors.
