Installed on the server is the HP CIM bundle (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?swItem=MTX-b98795300e7947d88f19ab56d6&lang=en&cc=us&idx=1&mode=4&) which allows to see the storage status of the RAID array in vSphere Client / Configuration / Health Status / Storage.

How can I configure a sensor to monitor this information?

We do not yet have pre-built sensors to monitor your SAN using the CIM bundles, sorry. We are working on this and hope to have it later this year.
