I use PRTG Network Monitor with a 100 seat license on our main production server. I have upgraded it to the latest version which currently is: 8.2.0.1898 and I use PRTG Windows GUI to monitor it from my desktop.

On another server I installed PRTG Network Monitor freeware version to do something testing. I notice the latest install for this is version: 8.2.0.1897

I want to use the PRTG Windows GUI from my 100 seat license version to monitor the freeware version but when I try and connect I am getting a version mismatch and it doesn't allow me to. Yes I can see the versions are different. How can I make it work?

When starting the WinGUI add the parameter "ignore" without "/" with one blank space right after the .exe entry. Best if you add a shortcut including the parameter.
