I am unable to get current data because of this incorrect March data that got in there somehow. How can I remove it and get new data?

In PRTG's System & Website Settings, you can set limits for Data Purging. PRTG will only store monitoring data within these limits. In your case, an easy way to drop data created in March would be to limit Historic Sensor Data to nine months.
In order to hide unrealistic values (enormously high or low ones) you can also set a Spike Filter in the channel settings of the sensor that reports these values.
