Is it possible to monitor web services with PRTG Network Monitor?

Please take a look at PRTG's HTTP sensors: Web Servers (HTTP) Sensors.
Using the HTTP Transaction Sensor, for example, you can monitor the entire process of buying an item in a web shop. Using the HTTP sensors, you can also search for certain key words in the source code of a web page, measure loading times, etc.
There is also a dedicated sensor for monitoring Amazon EC2 instances: Amazon CloudWatch Sensor
