Monitor VPN?

I have two Sonic Wall(Gateways) That have a VPN set up for them. I was wondering would it be possible to monitor the VPN (essentially monitoring of the two gateways have connectivity with each other.)

You can monitor the ifOperStatus of every VPN that is set up on the gateway with a SNMP sensor. It reports 1 for up and 0 for down.

You will of course need a MIB file for the Sonic Wall and convert it to a OIDlib with PRTG's MIB Importer. See also https://www.paessler.com/tools/mibimporter
