monitoring Nokia IPSO appliance, ifindex change, turning down some interface sensor.. Solution is to re-discover the device loosing customization of old interface sensors! I think that this may be applicable to any router.
How can I strictly assign ifindex always to the same interface of monitored devices?

hallo,
this is a known issue and we are already aorking on a different sollution than the one we already have.
Cisco devices e.g. have a command: ifindex persist to prevent this.
