Is it possible to use port 443 for the remote probes to communicate with the PRTG server?

Article Comments

Hello,

it is possible to change the Port used for the Core-Probe-Communication to basically any possible port (this included 443). But please be aware that:

  • this applies to all probes you have
  • the PRTG Webserver might already use this port
  • or any other webserver might use this port

The setting can be made in the PRTG Server Administration tool for the Core and in the PRTG Probe Administration tool for the probes.

Best Regards.
