One of the things we use PRTG for is to monitor the temperature of our facilities (as I'm sure many people do). We have auxiliary A/C units that we would like to be able to trigger automatically when PRTG senses a temperature issue. Is this possible with PRTG? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Apologies if this is a dumb question.
Is it possible for PRTG to send a command to a network device?

Hi Dennis,
Thanks for reaching out to us. This depends on the auxiliary A/C units if these provide an API to start/stop. PRTG supports various notifications which can trigger events. For instance by sending an HTTP request, or by executing a script which then contacts these units. Kindly take a look at this page for all possibilities.
Kind regards,
