Hello,
We have a Core Server with a remote probe. This remote probe is in same network of Core Server. No firewall between the two servers. Windows Firewall is disable on two servers.
Error messages are often received, remote probe is disconnected, each day and several times a day. For a few minutes only, and after is ok, Until the next alert...
I have 215 sensors in remote probes. I have 1081 sensros on Core Server => not problem
An idea?
Thanks in advance

What a terrible kb thread. It's helpful to include the resolution for other users!

It sure is, but log analysis should be done via ticket, as the KB is simply not made for that. We'll make sure to share the solution to this.
Edit Too many WMI sensors, too little ressources, causing the probes to restart when overloaded. Note that probe restarts can have many causes and likely differ for every instance they're happening on.

Hello,
I'd like to take a look into the log files of the remote probe. Could you please zip and forward the folder:
of the remote probe host to support@paessler.com? I will check the log files and see what's causing the issue. Please refer to this Knowledge Base article in your email.
Best regards, Felix
