Mail server encryption type not supported by PRTG

Greetings Lovely People,

I want PRTG to send mail via my Microsoft Exchange Server. However, the exchange server supports STARTTLS encryption but PRTG do not have STARTTLS encryption method listed in its SMTP relay settings.

Could this be the reason why PRTG cannot send email via my exchange server using SMTP relay?

Dear Richard,

STARTTLS is supported by PRTG and comes into action as soon as you use encrypted SMTP. STARTSL is an SMTP encryption handshake protocol, not encryption method (that is why it is not listed there. )
