I have replaced the files in the webroot / sounds folder and, even though I still have no sound, as soon as I restore the old ogg and mp3 files it works again, I have listened to each audio and they are heard in the player, the version of prtg is 18.2. 40

What's your goal? Hear different sounds or actual voice?
If it is voice - you could engage a test-to-speech script for your notifications... it's less messy then altering those sound files, and of course more informational.
But it really depends on your goals...

Hello there.
I'm assuming you followed these instructions. Please note that the length of the audio file that you use is limited and the file you use to replace the original one should have the same bitrate and sample rate.
