I'm a learning technology developer in an multi-site education provider and we are having fairly frequent slow-downs and interruptions in inter-campus networks.

Question 1. Can I setup PRTG and use it to monitor connections and connection speed to a couple of machines at each campus that I have install permissions on.

Question 2. How detectable would that be?

Yes, PRTG is able to monitor connections and the speed to different machines. You could simply start with PRTG’s auto-discovery and download the free trial, it will do most of the work for you.
