running the powershell windows update sensor on a device to test if it would work and it will not show any available updates. the fields for updates (severity___) hidden/installed/missing are all empty, even though the time since last update field has data.
on the server windows server 2008 we can check for windows updates and it will only show the updates when we select to check online. No updates are available from the system administrator, our process is to search for updates online and install them manually after checking for compatibiltiy issues.
