I configured the SIP Options Ping Sensor to monitor our vendor's SIP server, I have configured a specific extension in the system for monitoring the system, which I configured into the sensor. It showed in PRTG that the sensor was up, but I didn't see the registration in the VoIP system. I then proceeded to change the password in the sensor (to a known NOT valid password), and it continues to say that it is "Ok".
