Don't understand main purpose of "Master Heartbeat" function inside a PRTG Cluster. Can you give an example?

The master heartbeat is triggered from the current Master Node and runs a script every 5 minutes that can change the IP address for access to the cluster in a DynDNS setup, to make sure the users will always be connected to the current Master Node.
