Hi,

We want to monitor a customers meraki network with prtg. We're going to monitor the network from outside of the customers network. Whats best practice to monitor meraki devices from outside the network?

I already checked this link: https://https://helpdesk.paessler.com/en/support/solutions/articles/76000063725 Is it possible to monitor meraki devices from the meraki api? If so, how can we set this up.

We would like to get device statusus, but also port status and info, if possible from the outside.

Would love to hear from you what we can do to achieve this.

Hi there,

Basically, you're required to put a -remote probe- in the customer's network. The following should be helpful: What Can I Monitor With The SNMP Custom Table Sensor.

Other than that, we don't have anything, apart from the article you found already :/

Kind regards,
