Hello together
I noticed high CPU load on our Remote Probe (Probe Service: V18.3.42.1748). How can I reduce the CPU load?
Remote Probe: 1 Socket with 2 Cores and 4 GB RAM, 2268 Sensors are in use with one PRTG Core Server
kind regards,

Yes, I saw it in the Taskmanager in the tab Processes and sort the view by cpu --> PRTG Probe Service 40 - 80% cpu usage.

Hi there,
Unfortunately, this is below our recommendations of PRTG:

Please also check if really the PRTG Processes are using all the CPU or if there are other processes causing this.
Best regards.

Hi there,
I am afraid that this is really possible to troubleshoot in the knowledge base. Therefore please contact us via the regular support by sending us a support bundle. This can be done via the "Contact Support" ribbon in the lower right corner of the web interface. Please enter "PAE1073051" as the ticket number when submitting the Bundle.
Best regards.

Hello, Are you sure the load is generated from the process PRTG Probe.exe ? What kind of sensors are you using ?
