Does both the PRTG server and the target machine have Powershell 3.0 or greater installed?

Hello, we have the same Problem. Powershell v5.0 is installed on both systems. PRTG is based on Windows Server 2016 and the target system is Windows 7 64bit.

The fix for this is planned for an update. This mostly has to do with how Server 2016 is handling the Powershell response.

The error 0x8024401C is normally caused directly by the Windows Update routines. One can check if the same error occurs when running Windows Update on those machines. If that is the case, these resources might help:
