Hello,

i was wondering what your thoughts are about spinning up the probe device in AWS (using Paessler hosted, not on premise core server).

Currently we are running the probe host as a VM in our vSphere environment, but where we are headed in the future is probably AWS, so we'd really like to install the probe host in AWS from the beginning and not having to later migrate the probing VM to the cloud.

We will have no more than 1500 sensors.

Cheers,

This shouldn't be an issue at all. As long as the probe has a solid connection to your hosted server, and enough resources for what you're asking it to do, the probe will run just fine.
