I keep getting alerts from devices I have deleted

I keep getting alerts over and over again on devices and sensors that have already been deleted. When I look in the PRTG log, it doesn't even show that these alerts are being sent to me. When I click on the link in the alert, I get a message that the sensor was removed. Does anyone have any clue what's going on, or how to stop this?
