At sometimes a day some of our probe devices appear disconnected. Usually, after a couple of minutes the connections come back.
Because the status of the probe goes down, you receive an Alarm in the PRTG app on android.
Is it possible to suppress this alarm for the first time and check the status again after an interval before producing an alarm ? The scan interval for the probe device itself is set to one hours and 3 times before going down, but the alarm comes from the status "disconnect" I think.
Can you help please ?
Regards,
Michael

Hi there,
Suppressing the visible alarm status in PRTG is not possible for disconnected remote probes. Nevertheless, you can adjust the notifications for the remote probes to delay the messages. If you for example enter 3600s for the notification, the trigger will start to count as soon as the remote probe disconnects, but it will perform an additional scan after the 3600s before the notification gets finally sent. This way, you won't receive a notification if the outage is less than one hour.
