Hyper-V Virtual Storage Device sensor, results question

I added this sensor type to one of my Windows Server 2012 R2 Guest VMs on my hypervisor host server. A few days back the sensor in question started showing a number of errors, it has stayed at the same number since it went up. What can I do to investigate this further? I'd like to see if there is a problem that needs to be addressed.

This sensor type goes on the host server. It's not meant to run on a guest.
