Hi,

I can´t start the Core Server after the nstallation. I am using Windows 8.1 and the error message i got when I tried with:

1. HTTP (port 80) as TCP port and localhost as IP:

"Sorry, could not start PRTG Core Server (Web server) Could not start webserver for http://127.0.0.1: "" is not a valid integer value."

2. When I tried with HTTP (port 8080) as TCP port and localhost as IP:

"Sorry, could not start PRTG Core Server (Web server) Could not start webserver for http://127.0.0.1:8080: "" is not a valid integer value."

3. When I tried with HTTP (port 80) as TCP port and 192.168.1.130 as IP:

"Sorry, could not start PRTG Core Server (Web server) Could not start webserver for http://192.168.1.130: "" is not a valid integer value."

4. When I tried with HTTP (port 80) as TCP port and 192.168.1.130 as IP:

"Sorry, could not start PRTG Core Server (Web server) Could not start webserver for http://192.168.1.130:8080 "" is not a valid integer value."

The message indicates that there is likely a problem with the configuration file (it may have been corrupted).

Please try to replace your running config file;
C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\PRTG Configuration.dat

with one from the auto backup folder.
C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\Configuration Auto-Backups\

Yesterday's config or the one before should work. Please ensure that both services (PRTG Core Server and PRTG Probe) are stopped before overwriting the config file.
