I've updated to the latest PRTG version with some trepidation and... once again none of my remote probes have updated. Last time I had do them all by hand - a real pain.
What are the prerequisites for this to work? is there any way we can find out why they are not updating?

how many remote probes do you have?
you could send your logs from the main server and at least one of the remote probes to support@paessler.com so that we can take a look at them.
there could be numerous reasons why your probes fail to update.
one thing you can try is to change the number of simultaneous updates.
