Installation remote probe fails

I try to install an remote probe on a PC running Win 8.1

This installation fails with the error: Internal error: Failed to expand shell folder constant "userdesktop"

Setup stops.

Any one an idea to solve this problem?

Which remote probe method did you use? The automatic distribution, or did you download the remote probe installer from the PRTG webinterface and run it on the computer?
