I need to be able to proactively determine when storage issues are causing virtual desktop sluggishness in real time. Otherwise, I only see that “my desktop is slow” but I do not have the ability to efficiently determine why, whether it is a storage, CPU, or network issue, etc.
How can I monitor the performance and effectiveness of Atlantis Computing’s ILIO in order to look into performance issues?

Monitoring an ILIO VDI Storage Platform
Typically, it is not straightforward to look into appliances like Atlantis ILIO VDI storage platforms to analyze their data; the format of resulting data is not produced in a way to be easily and efficiently reviewed.
However, in order to monitor such systems you can perfectly make use of PRTG’s flexibility and expendability. With PRTG’s custom sensors it is possible to query many different systems' results, for example, to measure the performance of Citrix desktops as well as of ILIO VDI storages.
