Optional channels on custom sensor

Is it possible to provide "optional" channels with a custom sensor, i.e. to have channels in a sensor script which can be chosen or left out during sensor creation in PRTG? We currently use command line parameters to request additional channels from a sensor script, but being able to choose from available channels when creating a custom sensor in PRTG would be way more convenient.

As of right now, that's not possible with custom sensors.
