After change of broken disk system doesn't update serial number but only reports that old disk is not found. Is there any way to automatically update this or deleting sensor for old disk and creating for new is only option ?

We've got the same problem. Till now it is not possible to change the ID in the channel or delete the "not known" channel. But if your System added the new disk as a new channel you can "fade out" the not known from data table and graph. Otherwise you have to delete the whole sensor and recreate it. Maybe this feature is in one of the next releases.

You can take it this for another request, as more request they got, as faster it will be implemented.
