Hi PRTG team,
I am wondering if you plan to add sensor groups for device. What I am trying to achieve is group certain types of graphs: interface statistics, load-blancing statistics into categories. This would make easier navigation. Another improvement is search field on top sensor list. Each sensor has tag, quick search using tags would be perfect.

Dear Razor
To keep the object hierarchy clear, we do not allow groups within a device. Inheritance of properties would become confusing.
The global search includes tags. Libraries can be used for a customized view of objects and be configured to filter the sensors using tags.
Further customization of views is possible with PRTG Maps. While it involves of manual work to create a map, it allows for the highest flexibility.

Completely disagree with you but this is your vision how to develop tool. Groups could be optional - I someone find it useful then use it. Same quick search by tags/descriptions. Maybe you've never browse nodes with hundreds graphs to quickly find relevant information during critical failure.

Dear Razor
Thank you for your feedback. Even though we are not able to implement every suggestion, we collect the user feedback.

There is of cause always the "add the device twice" option.
Add the device once with the interface sensors and create a second instance for the load-balancing sensors. To make this setup complete, you can add both devices to a parent group that you will give the name of the original device.
