I have an iOS device (iPad) running the mobile app on iOS v7.1 and I receive all push notifications no problem. My iPhone 6 is running iOS v8.1.2 and after installing the PRTG mobile app and setting up the push notification settings, I never get prompted to allow push notifications from the PRTG app, thus I don't receive any push notifications. Has anyone else experienced this or is there a work around?

thanks for providing the information. Based on your experiences and the feedback of other customers we were finally able to reproduce the issue on one of our iOS devices. This error only happens on devices that have been running iOS 8.1.x at the time push was activated for the first time.

However, the good news is we were able to fix this in our PRTG for iOS App. We are going to upload the bugfix update after the iTunes Connect holiday shutdown and expect it to be available during January.

We tried several workarounds to provide an instant solution, but unfortunatelly couldn't find a solution for the current App version.
