Hi, Is there a way to monitor CIFS performance from one location to other ? For example file copy from one server to other or from PRTG server to other server or vice versa.
I found the CIFS sensor which is good to monitor folder changes but not the actual performance of the CIFS folder.
Currently we are running file copy with some batch file & scheduler and monitoring the specific interface where the traffic flows.
Please assist guys,
Thanks

There is a small Powershell script that can be used to copy a file and report back the time it took here. You can run this as a custom EXE/XML sensor in PRTG to display the results.
