Greeetings,
I have an firewall based on Linux Kernel that run busybox (a sandbox, I guess) and I can't run SSH remote probe. On debug mode, I have this answer: "ping: permission denied. (are you root?)".
If I included '/bin/ping' on '/etc/sudoers' permissions, is there any way to ping as sudo?
Thanks,

There is a new setting "SSH Rights Elevation" in the "CREDENTIALS FOR LINUX/SOLARIS/MAC OS (SSH/WBEM) SYSTEMS" section in the device settings, that will do exactly what you are looking for.

At the moment, this is not possible, but we do have some customers, who already requested this feature for other ssh sensors and we're considering it at the moment. We can't and won't make any promises if or when it will be added, though.
Maybe you can solve this in the meantime though with a self written SSH Custom Script Sensor.
