I'm monitoring a bunch of Blades in our HP C7000 chassis successfully using SNMP (including using the SNMP HP ProLiant System Health sensor).

However, I'm trying to use the same sensor for the actual chassis and have setup SNMP correctly (as I've done on the Blades), but I'm getting the following error: "No such object (SNMP error # 222)"

SNMP System Uptime seems to work OK, but not the System Health sensor.

Can anyone provide further help or advice. Thanks.

Hello,

Can you try to use our SNMP Tester run it on the PRTG Host, and perform a SNMPWalk with the following Base OID:

1.3.6.1.4.1.232

against the target device? Which results do you get in the tester? Please send us the result logfile from the Tester.

best regards.

Hi, the SNMPTester returned a lot of information and it correctly detected the Blades within the chassis, and using SNMP V2c along with our Community string.

How can I send you the resultant text file?

Thanks.

I double-checked the Sensor (deleted then re-added, but still getting the same "No such object (SNMP error # 222)" message.
