Upgrading PRTG version 7 to version 14

Is there a problem when I install latest commercial version to existing PRTG version 7? I think PRTG version 7 does not have a auto software update in the SETUP tab. Is this a safe way?

Thank you very much for using PRTG. Updating from PRTG 7 requires installing PRTG 8 as a step in between. To get the PRTG 8 installer, please get in contact with us via email at support@paessler.com, that we can provide you with the installer.
From PRTG 8 then on, it's straight forward, download the installer for PRTG 14 from the Customer Service Center and install it.
