Can PRTG Network Monitor take hardware & software inventory?

We need a program to take inventory of hardware and software for all computers in our domain

PRTG can discover hardware, try to discover what services the found hardware are running and then monitor most part of the systems with it's wide range of sensors

So it can do some inventory, but it's mainly a monitoring tool, not a detailed inventory system.
